These recordings capture the first improvisations shared by these four musicians. The night consisted of two 30 minute sessions. Tracks titled A are taken from session one. Tracks titled B are taken from session two. The recordings were made at Industrial Improvement Project, a studio inside a shared work space. Evidence of such can be found at the very end of the record when a distant table saw finds it's way into the mix.

Montiel and Espinel can be found in their duo 'Monte Espina' where they make electroacoustic free improvisations. Miller and Roehling can be found in various creative ensembles in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
